FACIAL HYDRATION SPRAY AND FOUNDATION SETTING SPRAY
Research the ingredients in these sprays. Some contain glycol, which dehydrates the deepest layers of the skin, your natural lashes, and the adhesive. Some contain sodium, which also dehydrates.

MAKEUP WIPES
Contain solvents and glycols which dissolves the cyanoacrylates in the adhesive. The glycols in the wipes dehydrate the skin in the deepest layers leaving the skin look flat. It doesn't matter if you wash your face with a quality facial cleanser after using facial wipes, the ingredients in the wipes already entered into your skin barrier.

EYE CREAM | CONCEALER | SERUMS | PETROLEUM JELLY
Do not use oil-based eye cream around the eyelids or under the lower eye area. When you open your eyes, products on the upper eye will get onto the extensions, and when you close your eyes (blinking also), products used on the lower eye will get onto the extensions. This will result in extensions dropping prematurely. Be careful not to use Petroleum Jelly around the eye because this too can clog follicles.

The salt water in sweat breaks down the adhesive. When participating in activities that cause you to sweat be mindful not swipe your eyes with anything - including your hands. Not only does swiping damage and break your lashes, but you are also depositing bacteria onto your eyes and lashes, which could cause an eye infection in one or both eyes.

The excessive continued heat in hot yoga will cause premature loss of eyelash extensions.

Avoid Latisse!!! Latisse damages lashes. This is like steroids for lashes. The lashes grow at an accelerated rate; however, like in body building, there is a cost. The lashes look long yet; they cannot hold the weight of extensions, and the natural lashes look like the behind of a Golden Retriever. When over used, the follicles can get damaged and stop regrowing hair. Hair can grow in other areas of the face like in the corner of the eye, so not only do you now have to get your upper lip waxed now you want the corners of your eyes waxed due to excessive new hair growth. My recommendation is to stay far away from Latisse.

Do not touch, pick, or wiping the extensions. This breaks the adhesive attachment at the base resulting in extensions dropping prematurely. Picking not only removes the extensions, but also breaks off the natural lashes and causes the natural lash to split/peel in layers. Again, continued touching deposits bacteria, which could result in an eye infection.

Avoid sleeping on your face. Burying your eyes in a pillow can cause extensions to bend, resulting in adhesive separating from the eye lashes resulting in premature extension loss. Do not use sleeping eye covers/blindfold.
Recommendation: Sleep on back
Recommendation: Silk pillow case
Extensions are too long if they hit the lenses of your eyeglasses and sunglasses. Lashes at are pushed against the lenses cause friction with the adhesive result in premature extension loss. Blindfolds will cause the eyelashes to begin growing in a downward motion resulting in premature extension loss, and also when natural lashes begin growing downwards, the lashes become unlashable.
Recommendation: Shorter eyelash extensions
Recommendation: Do not cover eyelids with anything
Extreme heat from hair dryers, ovens, boiling pots, and the sun will melt the tips of the extensions and dry out the adhesive and natural lashes resulting in premature extension loss.
