PRE-appointment INFORMATION

APPOINTMENT TIME
If you would like to clean your lashes while you wait, please come into the room, there is a carrier stocked with cleanser and a variety of applicators to take with you to the restroom.

If you arrive early, be prepared to wait for your scheduled appointment time. Appointments are scheduled with a 15-minute break between appointments, this time is needed for Patrice to rest her eyes, respond to texts and voicemails, and set up for the next appointment.

If you arrive late, keep in mind the appointment time will end at the scheduled end time to ensure clients scheduled after you are not delayed.

BATHROOM
Recommend you stop at the restroom before your appointment to ensure you are comfortable throughout the service.

CAFFEINE
For some clients, drinking caffeine prior to their lash appointment makes their eyelids and eyelashes flutter. Fluttering eyes cause the under-eye pads to move out of position, the fumes from the adhesive may irritate the cornea. Plus, it's difficult to lash a moving target!

CELL PHONE
Please turn both volume and vibration off.

CLEAN YOUR LASHES
Arrive with clean lashes. Deep cleaning lashes during the appointment takes anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes.

*** NEVER USE MAKEUP WIPES or oil-based makeup remover to clean your eyelashes***

Wipes have emollients regardless if they are oil-free even Neutrogena wipes. The emollients act as a solvent dissolving the adhesive.

EYE CREAM/SERUM
Avoid applying any type of eye moisturizer around your eyes the day of the appointment, anything applied in the orbital area will transfer into the natural hairs and creating an invisible barrier between the natural lash and the adhesive.

GLASSES - PRESCRIPTION, READING GLASSES, SUNGLASSES
Please bring glasses with you to ensure the extension applied will not rub against the lenses. The friction breaks the attachment point of the extensions from the natural eyelash.

MEDICATIONS
If you require medication such as Xanax prior to proceeding with this service that impairs you in any way, please make arrangements for transportation to ensure you are complying with Arizona Statute §28.1381: it is unlawful for a person to drive or be in actual physical control of a vehicle in this state under any of the following circumstances: While under the influence of intoxicating liquor, any drug, or a vapor releasing substance that impairs the person to the SLIGHTEST degree.

PETS

Please leave your pets at home. This is a sanitary environment, only service animals are permitted.

SHOWER
When showering, protect your lashes from hair conditioner runoff into your eyes. Some conditioners have silicone type ingredients that coat your natural lashes and will not rinse off creating buildup along the eye-margin.

AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS

WAIT 3 HOURS

The cure time for the adhesive is (3) hours.  During this time, the adhesive bond is vulnerable to moisture, steam, excessive heat, cosmetic ingredients coming into contact with the adhesive bond, and friction from rubbing and cleansing.

The following activities will result in a weaker bond, premature eyelash extension loss and/or irritation, and, therefore should be avoided:

  • Showering or wetting your eyelashes.
  • Exposure to heat, steam, sauna, and friction.
  • Application of eye and eyelash cosmetics.
  • Sleeping on the side or stomach.
  • Receiving irritating eye-area treatments, such as strong chemical peels, skin-resurfacing procedures, eyebrow waxing or laser treatments.

AFTER 3 HOURS

The following activities will weaken the adhesive bond and result in premature eyelash extension loss, and therefore should be avoided:

  • Excessive exposure to heat, steam, sauna, and friction.
  • Emollients in makeup wipes and foaming cleansers breakdown the adhesive.
  • No baby shampoo cleanser (detergents are too strong for the eye area)
  • Lashes rubbing against lenses of glasses, goggles.
  • Use of oil-based eye care products on or near your eyelashes, such as eye creams, eye serums, vaseline and cleansers.
  • Use of waterproof cosmetic products on or near the lashes including waterproof mascara and eyeliner.

  • Use mechanical curler.
  • Touching lashes and/or rubbing eyes.
  • Picking or pulling lashes.
